SHANGHAI, December 6, 2010 - Chinese shares rose 0.33 percent in early trade Monday with metal stocks leading the gains on higher commodity prices, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was up 9.51 points at 2,851.94.
The Shanghai A-share index added 0.33 percent, or 9.97 points, to 2,986.71, while the Shenzhen A-share index gained 0.12 percent, or 1.70 points, to 1,364.69.
