A man and a woman have been charged with murder over the death of a badly injured teenage boy found in a bath.
Police were called to Hathaway Crescent on Christmas Day
Eric Baikubi, 27, of Hathaway Crescent, E12 was charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy on 25 December in Hathaway Crescent, E12.
A 27-year-old woman of the same address was also charged with the murder.
Police have not released the identity of the dead boy or that of the woman charged with murder.
Both will appear in custody today at a London magistrates' court.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service to the property on Christmas Day following reports of a drowning.
Investigating officers are awaiting test results to determine the exact cause of death after the post-mortem examination proved inconclusive.
