DHAKA (AFP) - A
Bangladesh court Wednesday issued an arrest warrant for main opposition
leader Khaleda Zia for her role in a deadly fire-bombing protest
campaign against the government last year, a prosecutor said.
A judge in the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court issued the warrant against Zia after accepting a police charge-sheet against her over the campaign last January, prosecutor Shah Alam Talukdar told AFP.
