Temperatures will be a little higher this weekend but the UK is still suffering with problems due to the snow, ice and fog and it is not quite the end of the cold spell yet.
One or two snow flurries in Scotland in the morning. Outbreaks of rain to the East of Kent, North West England, central Ireland and the South West coast.
Temperatures in the South West are a good few degrees above freezing but not feeling too pleasant here as it will remain a rather grey, dull and damp day.
It will remain mostly cloudy in many areas this afternoon and still outbreaks of rain, mainly in the South.
Perhaps some bright spells in central Scotland but also lots of stubborn fog patches that will be slow to clear.
Rain across the South tonight. It could be heavy at times - perhaps some localised flooding, otherwise a widespread frost elsewhere.
Rain will finally clear the South East corner on Sunday. Some sunny spells dotted around, most of them to the West and some showers in Eastern England.
Snow on higher ground in Scotland again and temperatures in general above freezing again until next week.
