A spreading fire in the mountainous grasslands of southwest, China has trapped soldiers and local residents trying to put it out. At least 22 have been killed and three severely burned.
The wild fire, is raging through grassland on a plateau some six kilometers from Daofu County, of Sichuan Province. Local authorities, say about 33 hectares of grassland have been destroyed, while 13 are still on fire. The fire broke out at noon Sunday, and was temporarily brought under control, at around 3 pm Beijing time. But gusting winds, have again... boosted the flames trapping those fighting the fire.
