A dance troupe hailed as a national treasure of Spain is about to make its debut in Beijing. Carmen Mota will showcase its passionate repertory programs over the month to come. They'll treat dance buffs in Beijing to spectacular flamenco productions. Carmen Mota is an energizing fusion between the deep-rooted Spanish dance and an abundance of modern styles. The production promises to be an explosion of light, color and movement. The lavish costumes and the stunning visual impact of the stage design add the icing on the cake.
And the 3rd Beijing Light Festival kicked off its winter run. Colorful fish lights welcome visitors to the main area of the festival at the Solana Shopping Compound. The theme of this festival is "Happy Ocean". It consists of light art works that simulate ocean views all over the 130,000 square meters area in Solana. And music is played in every corner. The festival runs through the end of February.
