Poland's prime minister is accusing Russia of producing an "unacceptable" draft report into the plane crash in Russia that killed Poland's president.

The accusations by Donald Tusk come as the two countries try to overcome a long history of mistrust. It's less than two weeks after a visit to Poland by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The visit was hailed by both sides as a start to a new era of warmer ties.

Donald Tusk says the report, prepared by a Russian commission investigating the crash, shows "negligence, or mistakes, or no reaction to demands" made by Poland.

He says the report is unacceptable because it downplays any Russian role in the accident. The April 10th crash killed President Lech Kaczynski, the first lady and many other Polish officials. Altogether 96 people died.
