Recently, some people are finding serial numbers on RMB notes they have never seen before and they're concerned the bills could be counterfeit. But China's central bank says not to worry, and they have begun using new serial numbers, because it has printed more notes recently. The serial number simply means they are newly printed, but not counterfeit.
